Matt Vawter

Colorado native Matt Vawter already had his sights set on serving the best croissant in Denver when he opened Mercantile dining & provision as chef de cuisine with Alex in 2015. Füdmill is a natural expansion that allows for the specialization and wider distribution of the pastries and desserts served at Fruition and Mercantile. Matt’s quick study in the kitchen coupled with the shared desire for creating memorable experiences through food gives him the foundation to grow and expand one of the most-loved bakeries in Denver.
